Arctic Monkeys Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not
Voto:
Punk has nothing to do with it and (I understand that maybe you just entered the slightly complex music scene) if you really want to know, the Sex Pistols were bastards who spat on the streets of London, picked up by a legendary producer and turned into stars, icons of a generation, with an album that is truly the great scam of rock'n roll. But musically, there was little. Sex Pistols is the image, the mirror of late-seventies London. They have nothing to do with the Arctic Monkeys, who make pseudo-indie. I agree that this album is perfectly normal; there’s much better stuff out there, not just today but also in the year it was released. Ah, music is alive and well, you just have to look for it.
Trentemoller The Last Resort

The Danish (or Norwegian, or Swedish, whatever as long as it’s Nordic) photocopy of Plastikman, I don't really appreciate minimalist music. Hawtin and similar artists are, in any case, technically, stylistically, and musically different from all those idiots with turntables and a complete musical ignorance. This is real techno, this is real minimal.

The review doesn't say anything to me. All smoke (words, words, words!!!!), but no roast (the album, damn it, the album). You can quote Bochrum Spinoza all you want, but if you don’t even give me a shred of historical context and don’t talk about what’s in the album, then the review means nothing to me. But it’s funny, and that’s a plus. Great album.

The covers of Cirith have always been legendary, but unfortunately, I haven't had the chance to listen to them properly. Great review.

Too, too full of themselves. As far as I'm concerned, they haven't yet made a decent album, so they better get themselves some aftershave and a razor, leave the ZZ Top wannabes alone, and get to work. Music isn't about appearances. Cheers to the usual suspects.
Guns N' Roses Appetite for Destruction
Voto:
The highlight of the album is given by Paradise City, which stands at a higher level compared to the others, not only for its technical quality and the band's synergy and cohesion, but it is also a tank, an explosive concentrate that hits us in all its majesty. As evocative as Sweet Child O' Mine is with its solo and ever-increasing pathos, it does not reach the level of Paradise City, the true gem of the album. That's just my opinion.

A review that does justice. Great manalishi, always good.

I liked it and still like it. For a casual listen, it's just fine, and for an exhilarating one, even more so. Anyway, they are great in Appetite, but perhaps a bit less impactful in their other albums (Use your Illusion). This is a masterpiece of hard rock.
