If you’re really from '95 and listen to Radiohead, it means you have music in your head. Listen, listen, listen, and listen again.

I will feel it, however among all the parade popstars, she is the coolest.

I don’t find it that beautiful when considering the context of the Aeneid, an album that at times feels completely disconnected from the whole story and lacks distinctive traits compared to a new wave record, and that, if it weren't for the name, would not evoke at all the imagery of the lands and moments from Virgil's poem. Evocative New Wave, yes, but still lacking a strong personality.
This is where you can see how the sound of the early Litfiba has aged somewhat poorly and remains too rooted in that musical era. This obviously doesn’t take away from the fact that they have indeed made some great albums; it’s just something that stands out in their work and that I don’t see in other post-punk/new wave bands of that time.

A slightly imprecise and vague review. I definitely wouldn't define Depeche as pioneers of the genre; they are certainly among those who have brought it to prominence and to the masses with their exquisite electropop. A dynamic, cohesive album, truly a gem of electronics for its refinement, it's always a pleasure to listen to, never boring, and it has aged remarkably well.

I’ll clarify for a moment by saying that all I see in Allin is transgression, because I’m listening to the little stuff he’s done, and I don’t see many traces of serious rock 'n roll.

I'm truly far from being a psychiatrist, I said that personally I see coherence in Allin for the simple reason that he was aware of being who he was, and he showed it too, and also shamelessly. The point is that there was no need to cover himself in shit to prove once again the absurdity of this world. At least I don't feel that need. And if rock is just transgression, then I don’t listen to rock.

Well, tell me how you can define as fake someone who physically self-destructed for a lifetime, who practically devastated his reputation (according to common sense) and who died with heroin in his veins. If he had been fake, then he should have become an actor. Let's not start doubting the undoubtable; it's not a matter of fiction. It's a matter of mentality or mental insanity: I say he wasn't insane, he was simply someone who believed in not believing in anything (and in the punk world, we've seen millions like that); I see him as a fool for flaunting this mentality. But this is not about fiction.

He wasn't crazy; in fact, he had a perfectly coherent image. I can't stand him for his excessive glorification of mental anarchy and nihilism. He seems quite useless as a character precisely because we didn't feel the need for yet another abortion of nihilism coming to sing to us how this life is (for him) a piece of shit.

Thank you for bringing back to light this my first masterpiece of a review, which, reading it again now, really makes me laugh. There’s no denying it: both from the review and the comments, it’s clear that I was just a newbie.
