I still need to listen to this, but they (or should I say just "he"?) are one of the best musical realities in our country (it’s also true that they’re half Slovenian, but the Doctor is Venetian, let’s not forget that!). A review to frame, as usual.

Well, what you're saying is true to a certain extent, in my opinion. I mean: you're right when you say that many exalt certain albums solely for their "historical" merits and that music should simply be enjoyed, without thinking things like “Oh my God, Noise starts from here, so this album must be a masterpiece and I have to like it at all costs.” However, in my view, you contradict yourself when, after having rightly supported this absolutely shareable point of view, you assert as a certain thing that distorted guitars et similia cannot convey emotions. Music is made of vibrations, and emotions can come to me just as much from a piano or a violin as from a heavily distorted guitar, a battered drum kit, or even from a guy screaming at the top of his lungs: it’s all subjective. As for the album, I liked it, but it doesn’t make it to my list of CDs to take to a desert island. Other than that, much respect and admiration!

Cool. Yes, even today at 50, they are totally cool. Once, at one of their concerts, I spent the time photographing the guitarist.

Great! Beautiful review, overflowing with passion for the old and glorious NWOBHM! And great band, which I also know (a bit) thanks to South American blogs, as you rightly point out in the review…! "Astral Rider"? Simply one of the most beautiful Heavy Metal songs ever created!
