Wait a moment, "unclassifiable," okay, but I get the feeling you’re talking about electronic music, maybe a bit sampledelic and spacey... You've piqued my curiosity. But is it danceable? Does it have anything to do with Crystal Castles? Great review, by the way.

How nice that Ondarock also mentions Afterhours in the review of this album (http://www.ondarock.it/recensioni/2009_ilteatrodegliorrori.htm), at least I'm not the only idiot who dared to say something like that.. phew

"For a group with certain expectations, being compared to the Afterhours is nothing short of humiliating" — another statement of mind-boggling arrogance, in my opinion. Why, then? Haven't the Afterhours gone through an incredible apprenticeship? What’s wrong with them? Isn’t this arrogance? If you don’t like them, Nosebleed, what makes you say that they wouldn’t appeal to a hypothetical group of bright hopes that wouldn’t mind being compared to the Afterhours? What makes you think that maybe Capovilla doesn’t like the Afterhours? Did you read it in a magazine? Did you talk to him after a concert? Are you Capovilla yourself, Nosebleed?

Hey, in short, next time I’ll avoid making comparisons. Here, I took a chance, and the only thing that came to mind to compare them to something from the Italian scene of the last 10 years were the Afterhours (because of the literary references, yes). Your reasoning, Fiquata, makes perfect sense in theory, but the obscene stench of arrogance and prejudice against DeBaser definitely exists. The usual things, basically: "Italian pop is all shit," "I preferred them when only I and my cousin knew about them," "Now that they've stopped publishing exclusively on cassette, they've lost their essence," "Grindcore isn’t music," "Music is what you play with instruments you can touch, not with a computer," "Too catchy to be artistic," "Too artistic to be catchy," "Too derivative," "So original that it’s jarring; they could’ve included some references," "Shitty artist. Vote with my dick (Y)(Y)(Y)(y)," "Fuck off, don’t dare compare the Mazurkadelika to those untouchable sacred monsters like Necrophile Tendencies." The fact is, I don’t know why, but most of these comments emerge with Italian artists. Calm down, or this will become the temple of an annoying elitist jerk-off.

What a drag... 1- listen to the album before shooting off comments like "for me they’re all smoke even though I’ve heard half a track a bit distractedly." 2- Obviously, in terms of sound, there’s little of Afterhours. The comparison is more about the "cultured" side of Italian alternative rock, and I think the two bands can actually be likened here. 3- why is it that when talking about Italian bands there’s an unbearable stink of "Spocchià," the nouveau parfum de Chanel (paciallanimasua)?
