Very similar and showy are the Useless Wooden Toys.

I don't know, maybe it's because I love electronic music, especially the more danceable kind, but "Survivor" makes me go crazy:

Ah, well, money... of course, I hadn’t read that, sorry. Anyway, making an album like Loveless today with digital techniques would cost 20 times less (both in terms of money and effort). Who knows how many tapes they flushed down the toilet before achieving that sound. Spending £250,000 to make a guitar-bass-drums record today I believe is quite impossible.

Anyway, No Age are nice but of course Nouns was just a rehash of Psychocandy (which the guys from the '70s wouldn't have appreciated either).

Porcavacca, well of course it’s difficult to find novelties in rock 'n' roll in the strictest sense. But it would also be foolish to expect them. If I want to hear something new and original, I put on something that sounds more like a "tum tum" (or better yet "tum tutum tum tum tututum tum tutut tttt tum tum tumtu" if we're talking about Burial) than an "sdleng sdleng". Today a Loveless would be unthinkable just as in 1991 it would have been unthinkable to have a "Untrue" or a "Donuts". What idle talk, goddamn...

Do you know those people who lived in the '70s and claim that today's music is terrible and adds nothing new? Yeah, well, I don't care and I keep torturing myself with Oneida.
