Tim Burton Batman
Voto:
Honestly, the argument that "it's Burton's most commercial film, therefore it's a piece of junk" is something I can’t stand at all. It certainly can't be compared to his past masterpieces, but the mere fact that it attracted a large number of viewers doesn't seem sufficient to declare it "not the best." (After all, it doesn’t seem like Burton has always been averse to the box office, which doesn’t devalue it in any case). I admit to having a fondness for this film and that I grew up with it along with the entire Batman saga, but regardless of that, the performances by Nicholson and Keaton (a bit less Basinger) are exceptional. The story holds up and captivates just as well as the subsequent films in the saga and much more than many other clichéd superhero movies (see "Superman Returns"). At most, one could criticize it for not being as "visionary" as in other works, but...
Gabriele Muccino L'Ultimo Bacio
Voto:
I don't think it's necessary to get so alarmed about "Il último bacio." After all, the same Muccino has made films far inferior to this one (with "Ricordati di me" at the top of the list). Moreover, "Come te nessuno mai" was more than good. I agree with the remark about Mezzogiorno.
Metallica St. Anger

Definitely one of the lesser ones.
The Donnas Bitchin'

Funny review for a group with low expectations.
Gregg Araki Mysterious Skin
Voto:
It's Neil who is directly involved in the coach's abuses, Brian, after some attempts from the latter, manages to escape, but he is burdened by the misfortune of those firecrackers (firecrackers?) thrown at him by his peers, which particularly marks him. Sorry for the misunderstandings :)
Blake Edwards Colazione Da Tiffany
Voto:
It doesn't seem useless and boring to me at all. The film in question pleased me when I saw it, and I still like it. The review is well written.

Sniff, delayed but still sniff.
Roberto Benigni Pinocchio
Voto:
I was also disappointed by Benigni with "Pinocchio." "La vita è bella," regardless of the praises and awards, is definitely a great film. With "La tigre e la neve," he somewhat redeemed himself, but by now he has already done his part...
