Anyway, Uncle Frank coming out of the toilet bowl would have at most reminded you to go vote; he wouldn't have berated you for a review that was a bit so-so!

I agree, there’s really a lot of crap that talks about music and shouldn’t be doing it!!!
John Coltrane Ascension

Well, about the fact that there's not much to say about the tracks... well, that's up for debate... there are dozens and dozens of critics who have written hundreds of pages on these chaotic yet organized sessions!!!

I disagree that it’s not at the same level as A Love Supreme or others (you certainly forget My Favourite Things!!!), they’re simply very, very different things...it doesn’t surprise me that your metalhead friend described Coltrane’s music as satanic (how less satanic can something be...if anything, the satanic and dark was Miles) usually they know 15 words all connected to the necrophilic-mortuary realm!!!
Miles Davis In A Silent Way

Macero's work is just an added value... on the other hand, the material he was handling was neither written nor played by him...

Let’s put an end to this sterile controversy... the important thing is that there are still so many people who feel this wonderful music...

But who cares about the genesis of Bitches Brew!!! Judge the finished product and not how we got there... and then you've discovered hot water, those who love Miles know about Teo and everything he did, go get the December 2006 issue number 37 of Jazzit on pages 50-51, you'll find a tasty article to satisfy your cravings for musical archaeology. Moreover, I don't even agree with your statement regarding the untouchability of the album, it’s not like Kind of Blue (which always deserves all five stars) that is talked about endlessly!!! And then what a fall from grace with that Nazi... what does that have to do with anything? And remember you can also call me a communist since by now, in 2007, we've discovered that the difference between the two totalitarianisms is only the number of dead, certainly in favor of the latter!!! If you don't trust me, ask the Buddhist monks from Myanmar!!!
Paco De Lucia Solo Quiero Caminar
Voto:
The problem is that none of you know a damn thing about de Lucia except for the albums with di Meola and McLaughlin... whoever says that the eight instrumental tracks on this record are a reworking of pieces from Castromarin, originally all acoustic? Jim Morrison, thanks to hell that the trio is your favorite, it's probably the only one you've listened to!!!
