Of "Powaqqatsi" and the more recent "Naqoiqatsi", which inform it as a whole, no mention? Of the "first/second/third world" phenomenology that lies at the heart of these works by Reggio? All of this can be looked down upon by those who prefer storytelling and the narrative structure of a "cinematic novel", yet on a technical level, these works are pure delight for anyone with the mindset of a filmmaker.

I really don't understand if you're kidding or if you're serious... you go from a classic street style that's been overly used and abused to the easy exploitation of a sidewalk hooker’s backside. Did you at least use the hood? Because these viados don’t discriminate between front and back... (but since you’re also familiar with "those" Genesis, you shouldn’t have any particular problems ; ).

Uffff... At this point, I almost thought you actually went to Tilburg, Bartle. There’s this guy I run into on SoulSeek who brags every spring about attending "Roadburn" "ad libitum" (of course, he lives in Tilburg...). Anyway, regarding the Isis issue, he had the chance to explain to me that it was actually a misunderstanding between them and the organizers: in the end, the organizers announced a torrential performance of about three hours while the band ended up playing according to their own standards (90 minutes), which created that gap at the end of the first day, on the main stage, that allowed Earthless to take the stage... (P.S.: if you get the chance, check out the "NoiseBleed" folder on "S.S."; ).

Mmmmh, it actually depends on what you mean by "classic rock," 47... if we're talking about explicitly Seventies sounds, maybe only the "Pilgrim Fathers" fit in there... but if we mean music with bass, drums, and electric guitars applied to a rather recognizable song form, well, there's quite a bit, starting with "All the Saints," for example...
