I quote Easy: "aesthetic manifesto of Pop" in 2009 for me too (N.B.: this opinion comes from someone who really couldn't stand these 4 radical-chic inconclusive freaks until "Here Comes the Indian"...).

Ahhh, how cool: one of the first CDs I ever got (along with "Nevermind the Bollocks" and "Disintegration", I had it all figured out back then!!!). You can tell I'm proud of it and I still listen to it, oozing pride from every pore???!!

Brrrrrr... That title gives me chills though, it reminds me of the reckless purchase of Mao's eponymous work (which, alas, he had just lost the Revolution, and not just that...): how was I able to be both underage and impaired at the same time!

Yes, but who really kills the "old man" Sorge??!!... Otherwise, we'll find him back in our way, but at least as Claudio Risorge...

Well, then why not suggest they start maybe with the "Just Like Heaven" J.rassica version, so they might feel on more familiar ground... or maybe not?!!

Yeah, I really have to take a stand among the defenders of this girl... my big cat (R.I.P.) was a bit of a favorite of mine, and when in heat, he would emit chirpy tones quite similar (though, in truth, more carefully modulated) to those of the little mouse we're discussing, and... without randy cats, it’s by no means certain that this would be a better world!

Ahahahahah! Now I'm going to make a few enemies! I loved them from the very first listen (many years ago), then I somewhat lost track of them (who knows how...). Thanks to the repeated reviews published here, I've recently gone back to rediscover them, with great confidence. Well, the trick has finally sunk in for me... I had never noticed before, but "Loveless" has a rhythm that's a bit like a pendulum teasing your balls constantly: over time, it swells them up.
Darren Aronofsky The Wrestler
Voto:
The astonishing part is not the failure of "L'Albero della Vita" (subtitle "The Mother of Fools is Always Pregnant"), but the flattery this film has received (subtitle "There’s No End to the Worst"). Aronofsky, even when he should appear subdued, has an excessive and pompous style... Only one of the most "ridiculous" juries ever seen at the Venice Film Festival could have paved the way for such a predictably overwhelming media hype (and let's not even mention the art house cinema, which is already struggling badly on its own).

@ Bartle: I stumbled upon that review too, and the objective rating did indeed seem excessive to me. However, reading between the lines and considering how easily some editors give out 8s and even 9s in that publication (for releases that are far from exciting), it starts to make sense (just look at what the album of the month was and what score it received... in my opinion, Sorgen should almost always be divided by 2). By the way: I just saw this month's cover and I think I'll skip Rumore this time 8).
