Finisterre In Limine

However, with the titles they tend to be a bit redundant, it's fine that they're from Genoa, but associating "In Limine" with "Finisterre" gives the impression of something more than just a simple Montalian echo... ah, I give the review a 3.5 (assuming that it's very difficult for me to go above a 4).

Oh, the performance was of a very high level, very atmospheric and evocative... in this case, he presented himself under his own name, performing with the guitar and using prerecordings from a laptop... overall, however, his proposal (regardless of the medium used) had an instrumental connotation in the most classical sense of the term... for this reason, I believe it was penalized by the jury.

Sorry for the digression, Me.Mo., but I would be inclined to assume that your dark heritage is quite mild, if only because reading your comment about the Tool concert in Florence had me in stitches with that remark about Adam Jones's grin (he must have been on some good stuff; in the three times I've seen them live, his expression has always seemed somewhat one-dimensional!) and the belly of his at navel height (enough to make Spielberg think he made a mistake in naming his little shark movie "JAWS"!).

The review gets straight to the point, so... I agree with the curator's rating... and I add, it seems to me quite a little thing from FischerSpooner during their teething stage (just to have a mild tune of irritation).

Hey, I wasn't there (sigh!) and I was wondering if ...Trail of Dead pulled their usual shit live or if they actually behaved well??!

Blessed ignorance (mine!). I really like Finisterre quite a bit, but... last month Fabio Zuffanti participated in a little electronic music contest (in the broadest sense of the term) that I organize with a group of friends, and I didn’t even know he was the principal composer of the band (ahem, I also handle the selection of the material that gets sent to us!)... nice guy anyway (and he didn’t win)!

I haven't listened to them, obviously, but I wonder what Yeah, Yeah, Yeahs and Locust have to do with the genres you then go on to mention in your more specific review... and then, just to stay within the realm of American productions, I find it much easier to understand the reasoning behind a Todd Solondz film compared to any pompous Spielbergian production... (personal notes and doubts, no attack on the quality of the writing, which actually intrigued me!).

Oh, I didn't think I had given a negative rating; let's say that a 5 is rarely achieved by me, a 4 is an excellent rating, 3 is good...the explanation is all here (as already mentioned), the album is more than good, recommended, but not as transcendental (in my opinion) as many portray it...but no offense V.V., bye.
