This group, with the hit single Acida, has always represented for me the emblem of the "meteor" phenomenon, at least when it comes to the 90s. I mean, few have appeared out of nowhere, but really from nowhere, suddenly making a splash with one (or a couple, if I remember correctly) of songs and then plunging back into the darkest anonymity (amid spit and bottle-throwing at concerts, from what I've read), at least in Italy and at least in those years. Anyway, you guys need to stop with these nostalgic reviews (okay, this one's from 2006) because I think it's true what Coso says, that we who were born in the early 80s tend to be very melancholic: I'm studying on the balcony and spending half the time gazing at the sea and the places of summers from 12-13 years ago. And that's not good. As for the album, what can I say, themes too far from the mainstream to avoid burning out quickly (as indeed happened), just enough time to give the masses a (half) conviction that they were all alternative pseudo-toxic types; but then, as expected, the trend passed and so did their success. But what happened to them?

"I don't want to offend anyone who might appreciate this group"... no, no, instead YOU MUST offend, you bet, this generation of 12-year-old little whores who were fine as long as they just listened to this crap, but then they start rambling about punk, music, beautiful voices, and so on, while throwing around insults at anyone who doesn't think like them (when I was a kid, I knew how to respect other people's opinions, especially if they came from older and more experienced people than me), and then post-Nazi delusions break loose. I can't wait for today's little brats to reach the job market, I'll give them the education that those whores of their MILF mothers couldn't provide, too busy with gyms, shopping, and well-endowed lovers, I'll give it to them with a kick in the ass.

I took a pot, tossed in about thirty assorted utensils, and threw it down the stairs, accompanied by screams and burps. The title is "Murder: now the building manager is coming out and I'm in deep trouble, but I blend into the shadows, careful not to slip on the sperm."

Vasco Rossi Siamo solo noi

"The shots above," a manifesto of Vasco's nonsense, a ridiculous jumble of words and phrases with no inherent meaning, to which anyone can ascribe whatever meaning they can think of, is defined as a "political piece"... we're doing great. Vasco Rossi is not capable of doing politics, nor sociology, nor socio-political analysis, nor a damn thing, get it into that damned little head of yours, you filthy ***. Do you want to understand that he is just an ignorant drunkard and nothing more, or do you want to continue with this absurd pantomime of a man of substance? He's Homer Simpson turned human, with the difference that Homer doesn't put on airs. He is only capable of the lowest grade populism, stuff that not even the old folks at the park would use, clichés and childish banalities that, as usual, are useful for appealing to the masses, and yet you are all there with your manga eyes trying to grasp the profound meaning of Vasco's message, who really knows what's what, the Blasco... but how about going screw yourself every now and then, huh?
