Charles Mingus The Great Concert Of Charles Mingus
Voto:
Epic concert! Unfortunately, with very poor audio quality, but who cares!! Poor Johnny Coles, who had to leave the tour because of an acute ulcer... Mingus, while introducing the musicians, asked for an applause for his trumpet, which was left on the chair that belonged to him! And even poorer Eric, who died shortly after from diabetic coma; the piece "So Long Eric (Don't Stay There Too Long)" takes on a macabre connotation. It was meant to be a wish to reunite soon (Dolphy wanted to stay in Europe for a while if I’m not mistaken), and instead, the two musicians would never meet again...

Me too!!! And to think Bergman is my favorite... I think I'll get it from Feltrinelli, I thought I saw the Bergman collection on sale! It really inspires me.

Guilty about what? Come on, I agree that as long as no one gets offended, you can do whatever you want! A frappé

I suggest you give yourself a little finger while you think you're in Bubi's place while I make it mine... since you've already had enough wanks over me, right? Hysterical queen.

...Melissa! What are you up to? At this point, I even start to doubt Bjorky and all the female nicknames... I think debaser doesn't have a single female member! Oh, anyway, you are still welcome in my reviews!!

Welcome to emme 13 and congratulations on your "debut"! The last 5 lines deserve a 5. Regarding the album, it is one of the most representative of the entire free genre and has taken on the role of a classic, a "must-have" masterpiece. For me, it would be a 5--, nonetheless. My preference goes to the double live album "Live In Greenwich Village," which features the pearl of pearls from Ayler: that marvel "Angels"!

I believe that your proposals attract little follow-up as well... you always review things that, on the surface, are worth little, and that loses you credibility! If I were to review a new Boldi movie, singing its praises, even if the review was written reasonably well, I shouldn’t be surprised if I started receiving negative feedback! In certain cases, the prejudice is well-founded, because it is actually based on numerous previous negative experiences! It's too easy to say every time that we can’t judge something at all without having seen or heard it in its entirety; it seems like a trick to turn the situation around. That is, you seem to say: ā€œyou are the superficial onesā€ when maybe it’s actually you who is superficial, since your attention is often captured by movies or albums of little artistic value. I hope you don’t take offense, as that wasn't my intention!

Maybe we are finally becoming friends, Doc??? So I’m sending you a vigorous handshake and a kiss that’s almost gay (as the good Odradek would say)! BYE, until next time.

Pulp, and to think I bought it about a month ago directly from my trusted store in Rome (Darkstar)! Had it been there since the war? ;-) @Opel: you are always welcome, thanks for the visit! When you have too much on your plate, it's inevitable to postpone things ;-) @Jake: thanks, I'll add it to the list. Of the quintet, I know the beautiful "Points Of View", ECM from '97!
