Cannonball Adderley & Bill Evans Know What I Mean?

I share Muffinman's view. Last night, I posted a nice post where I spoke ill of Connie Kay, but it got lost in the dark corners of the net. I'd rather not repeat myself...

The intention was good, don't worry! You just need to pay a little more attention to the completeness of the sentences...don't get discouraged!

Hi Paolo! Don’t worry, it’s a dessert with melted chocolate ("splattered" on a bed of fresh cream) that’s really good; that double splash has two types of chocolate: milk and dark, milk and white, dark and white. Whenever you want, I’m here! Do you want it?

Welcome back Muito! But watch out, because our friend Miles had absolutely no taste for the wonderful music of a genius like Ornette Coleman; he's not exactly the epitome of reliability ;-) Just for this reason, I think I have better eardrums than his, and I swear my ears are also more trained, given the amount of listening I've done (the same could surely be said for many other debaseriani). As for the neurons, that's all to be proven! I don't think Miles had a very high IQ; I believe he had great musical talent, plus just the right authoritarian character to IMPOSE his vision on others, along with enough dishonesty to exploit the amazing musicians who he was FORTUNATE enough to have around him, plus the TIMING to release epoch-making manifesto albums that would definitively elevate ideas and musical concepts conceived BY OTHERS. He was extremely talented and quite the clever one, but he wasn't a god descended to earth. Be careful in trying to validate your thesis by relying on others' opinions, even if they are "important"! The little speech "since Miles thought that way too, it must be true" doesn’t hold much weight for me (and I believe for others too). I say all this despite him being one of the artists I admire most! So, whether Gilberto is a genius remains an opinion—yours and that of (many) others—and that is not at all unbearable. What is less pleasant is the peremptory way in which you continue to assert it without justification, trying to sweep away opinions that differ from yours (which are no less respectable) by "using" good old Miles as a virtual battering ram. Slaps on the back!

She doesn’t have the whore's face like her colleagues, which is why she hasn’t been successful, nor will she be in that field. Either she changes direction and starts doing serious singer-songwriter music, abilities permitting, or tough luck, she’ll remain in this no man’s land, rejected by both pop enthusiasts and lovers of true music.

Don't think that CDs are immortal, alas... I read that they last a maximum of 20-25 years. I pretended not to understand, otherwise I risked depression!
