Scott Henderson!! Kirk Covington! I highly recommend the extraordinary live double CD of these two plus John Humphrey on bass... outstanding!!

Absolute masterpiece.
The Tony Williams Lifetime Turn It Over
Voto:
Considering that Tony Williams is the most brilliant and precocious drummer of all time (let everyone feel him with Davis, Eric Dolphy, Andrew Hill, Herbie Hancock, Sam Rivers, and Grachan Moncur III), and acknowledging that I love him to madness, unfortunately I don't have this record and I can't express myself. It's been on my list for a long time... there was a period when it was hard to find, and I gave up! I don't know about now... anyway, I know "Emergency" very well, it's a great record for me! Hi Jake, try to listen to it again, some things that Williams does on the drums are truly worth it, and in my opinion, he's very musical.
Miles Davis Amandla

And anyway, the genius was mostly Parker's...Dial and Savoy, I confirm (the complete versions, of course).

A little something for Miles...

I have the beautiful (in my opinion) Terria from him. Truly unique sounds, a "thoughtful metal" that's almost Wagnerian, and I didn't mind it at all!
John Coltrane Impressions

Muff, if you already know the Vanguard recordings, you would definitely be disappointed with the purchase! After The Rain is still worth listening to for the unique lyricism it expresses.

Hello Dolphy!! You're right... but there is some good news, like the return of Grasshopper!
Ornette Coleman Free Jazz: A Collective Improvvisation
Voto:
Of course, he had a bit of a reach like Trane ;-))) at most he’ll shell out 10 bucks, at best an apple!! Poor Ornette. Anyway: are we really sure that LA is necessarily the peak without chords? Or are there multiple peaks? I’m leaning towards the latter...
