Despite the fact that the story is a more dramatic and less credible knockoff of "Amélie," despite there being annoying dead moments, and despite Smith's way of answering the phone* making it awkward for the person on the other end of the line (as well as the screen), it scores a 2.5. (*He lets it ring for ten seconds, then looks at the monitor for a couple of seconds, then opens the receiver in three, brings it to his ear in four, and after an incalculable amount of time, says a dull "hello"). Dawson is very good. He, on the other hand, maintains a furrowed expression throughout the film, which is intended to convey the character's continuous inner turmoil, but instead conveys the (failed) attempt of a mediocre actor trying to be profound while only coming off as professional. The most satisfying moment of the film is when he dies in agony ;-)

This was a name I frequently suggested when discussing highly talented yet lesser-known guitarists!! Thumbs up. I also recommend listening to his "Black & Blue," featuring Tom Harrell, George Garzone, Larry Grenadier, Alex Deutsch, and Don Alias! Cheers to Jake, Hal, and Odra.

Great album, 4.5 out of 5. However, I didn't like the writing, alas...
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart Don Giovanni

The first three paragraphs were from 1, then you made me smile more than once. The work is immortal. Don Giovanni, cruel, rapist, and murderer, is at the same time a hero beyond good and evil, who consciously claims, at the cost of death, his superhuman individuality.

Have you ever seen Fata Morgana by Werner Herzog? Write a review for it and give it a 1 or 2. Cinema is primarily image. Visual poetry. The plot comes later; the message is not necessarily essential and does not have to be unambiguous. If the message doesn’t reach you, either you're dense, or it means that the message itself is the absence of a message, which can leave a bad taste for those who feel the need for the "moral of the story." In any case, a bit of interpretative effort is required...

Hello Omakino!! Yes, it’s one of the gems of the album...a truly extraordinary record. If you don’t already know it, I absolutely recommend falling in love with "Yarona" by Abdullah Ibrahim, another amazing piano trio record almost contemporary to this one, which I reviewed. Until next time and thanks for the visit!!

Great movie, and great acting, except for Pitt's last scene, where he comes off a bit cartoonish in his hesitation to pull the trigger or not. But it's fine.

It's a good thing for the world to know that in my trash can there are sheets of newspaper lining the inner surface, which serve the purpose of absorbing any oil or other substances that might leak out from those pesky little holes in the plastic bag that can sometimes form. Well, (by sheer coincidence! - a sign of destiny?) the main sheet features the irritating scowl of the piano pop master, and I leave you to imagine, with every bag change, what shivers I might feel knowing it's at the mercy of filth.
