Third studio album for the Brescia-based band, released in 1992.
It starts with a classic-themed intro like the "Ode to Joy" from Beethoven's ninth symphony in "Non siamo solo noi" (a song also dedicated to Freddie Mercury), to the maxed-out electric and psychedelic keyboards of "Atti osceni", to the rock piece symbolic of this album, "Storie per sopravvivere", to the memorable ballads like "Sacrificio" (with the beautiful interplay of voices between Francesco and Omar).
Everything is in this album, rhythmic bass and drum lines that set the tempo, "crazy" keyboards, Omar's guitar riffs and solos (an amazing guitarist), and the spine-chilling voice of Francesco Renga (still very powerful here!). There's also a song written by Ligabue, "Male non farà", to which Timoria give their own touch (the choral parts are really beautiful). An album I really love, and not just for sentimental reasons, the lyrics are pure poetry (scenes of life, leading up to the apotheosis of "Sacrificio").
In short, no fireworks or explosions, but a purely and simply rock album, like they no longer make in Italy, definitely a must-have.
