Great debut! I only know Belladonna from the trio, and I like it a lot!!
Brian De Palma Carlito's Way

Good movie. Does anyone remember the name of the actor who kills Pacino? By the way, he is the same one who plays the good crook Ignatio in Revenge?

Great review for an album I don't know by the bassist I'm most attached to. The records made with Miles during the period '63-'68 are, for me, the peak of all jazz, and he was crucial. As a soloist, I recommend all his duo works with Jim Hall, namely Alone Together from '72, and the double CD Telepathy, which includes Live at Village West from '84 and Telephone from '85. There's great interplay between two masters of the instrument. Otherwise, Third Plane from '77, with the killer band Carter/Hancock/Williams, where Carter's solos have a surprising "gumminess" and "pneumaticity," with sensational rhythmic virtuosity and sound. The only downside is Williams, who for once doesn't sound divine! ;-)

Egon Schiele Seduto Maschio Nudo

Beautiful work by a great artist. The fingers, usually so important for Schiele, are completely absent here! What memories, Andrea!!
Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli Debussy - Images, Prèludes, Children's corner

A little too square for my tastes. The studio recordings are the world reference of all time for this music. 5 periodic to those. As for the live... who knows?
Robert Altman America Oggi - Short Cuts

Altman's masterpiece. "I Protagonisti" is also beautiful!!
Fred Uhlman L'Amico Ritrovato

Beautiful.
Samuel Beckett Waiting For Godot

Rece cerebral-intellectual that deep down doesn't say a damn thing, and it's also written poorly. Extremely important work.
Robert Rodriguez Dal Tramonto All'Alba

First part decent. Second one a piece of shit. Shit-tastic.
