AA.VV. Guida Ragionata per un Certo Tipo di DeBaseriano al Teatro dell'Opera
Voto:
I would add that for those with a weak bladder, it's best not to drink too much... if you need to pee and you're at the front of the line, making twenty clearly hostile people get up and receiving their hatred can lead to suicide... and if it happens to you again in the next act...
Giuseppe Verdi Falstaff E Otello
Voto:
More hilarity and culture!!
Giuseppe Verdi Traviata
Voto:
Phenomenal, extraordinary review!!! The work? Superb. Best version for me: Bayerisches Staatsorchester conducted by Carlos Kleiber, with vocal cast of Ileana Cotrubas, Placido Domingo, Sherrill Milnes. Deutsche Grammophon recording from '77.
Coleman Hawkins On Broadway
Voto:
Phrases like this leave me with many questions: "The continuous change in intensity can distract the listener a lot, and it can lead them to switch tracks"...Hawkins "adoptive father" of Monk, Miles, and Max...in what sense?? Do you find this great stylistic connection between them? I mean, you didn't even mention Ben Webster!! Anyway, let us always praise uncle Hawk. Three cheers for your musical tastes!
Kurt Elling Nightmoves
Voto:
Great review! Big Kurt Elling, my favorite album of his is "The Messenger," unconventional and with a "Nature Boy" that's now part of legend... and when I think of Bublé, it makes me so mad!!
Brian Blade Mama Rosa

I only listened to the excerpt from the video and I have to say it doesn't really excite me... I understand that you might not care at all!! Perhaps a complete and unhurried listen could help...
Thelonious Monk Solo Monk
Voto:
Hello Muffin, Alfredo, and Odra!! The right rating for the album is actually 4. The 5 goes to the double CD I mentioned above. Juanblues, anyway welcome, and congratulations on your “maturity” in listening!! It's always nice to see certain names appear on the homepage.
Thelonious Monk Solo Monk
Voto:
Everything is ugly. Music aside. "Solo Monk" is just a taste; the entire album is included in the fantastic double CD that features all the solo piano pieces recorded by the genius during the Columbia period. And the sound is magnificent!
Paul Hindemith Kammermusik
Voto:
I don't know Kammermusik, but I love the Symphony Mathis der Maler, the Symphonic Metamorphoses, and the Violin Concerto.
Wynton Marsalis From the Plantation to the Penitentiary
Voto:
Great review. It's true that the artist has been overly mistreated, despite having some "faults." I recommend "Black Codes," "J Mood," and "Live at The Village Vanguard" to everyone. I have never listened to this one.
