Oregon Out Of The Woods

I think like Jargon, but I would definitely add "Music Of Another Present Era."

Toilet Dance ;-)))))) You had me doubled over!! And that one about the Oregon grove is hilarious... poor Jake! Allevi hit rock bottom when he declared on tg2 with a soap opera actress's tone of voice, and with a terrible sense of timing, that "we are shards of paradise" and that his music could reunite us or something like that (I mean, take us to paradise!! but drink your own piss!)

Pig Inside The Gentleman? IT'S ME! A double 5 is to repay these gentlemen, who dedicated the album to me.

@UXO: WHORE. Crusader?? I’ve already implicitly criticized Bublé and Jones in the last line of post no. 13. @DOLPHY: you are (you guys are) right, I can be too didactic sometimes! As for solo piano for now I'm forgetting about it, I stick to 56 k. @MUFFIN: if you hadn't come by to praise the "cripple," I would have been offended!! ;-) @HOLDSWORTH, GALAKORDI, and THIRDEYE: thanks a lot! @EGREGIO Dr.ADDER: Thank you for the visit and I agree with you that you agree with Dolphy. I highly recommend you approach this genius. Respect. ;-) I almost forgot @METAMATIC: thank you very much! By the way, Vol. 2 might even be a bit better for me, Four In One and Criss Cross are among my absolute favorites of Monk!
Johann Sebastian Bach Brandeburg Concertos

P.S.: my favorite piece is the first movement of the fifth concerto, a very fresh melody! I'm in a hurry now, I'll review it later.

You have a future ahead of you, as an artistic director of an auditorium, as a great music critic, or maybe even as a musician, who knows! Don't waste your talent. I don't think even a Grasshopper could have produced such a mature, knowledgeable, and passionate piece of writing, and he is at least twice your age, I believe. WELL DONE.

"Never say something you wouldn't want to be said to you." But I would have laughed if you had said it to me. However, it seems you are very sensitive to certain things, so I will take note of that for the future, and I’m sorry if I disturbed you. And to avoid any risk of misunderstanding from now on, I will address you formally, I will avoid making annoying clarifications about genders, musicians, etc., and, in short, I will mind my own business in my own space without so violently invading yours. I apologize again for the unjustifiable intemperance; if you wish to pursue legal action, I would understand. Best regards.

Hi Ole, and thank you! I will definitely take your advice; it's just that for certain things I'm a bit of a procrastinator...

Not only "didactic technique to play my compositions," but also "didactic technique to play the music I hear in my head."

Hi friends! Jake, I don’t know why, but in my latest reviews the dwarves are removing the quotation marks and adding question marks! I wonder why they highlighted "Carolina Moon"... as for the slaps, Pamparius already responded, I just want to add that Miles insisted that Monk didn’t feel insulted at all but understood perfectly his need for more space during the trumpet solo; who knows! "Monk could have easily stuck my little butt to the wall!" ;-))) Uxo, in fact, reading it again I don’t like it much, you’re right, it’s a bit heavy! The mistake I see is that I wrote '47-'53 instead of '47-'52, I was writing from memory and confused the year of publication ('53) with the year of the last recording session ('52). Was that it? I use nicknames because these guys are my friends! Should I address them formally? Gossip and quotes help me win over the housewives of debaser and convert them to jazz! Next time give me four if you will! Private received, I’ll respond to you tomorrow. Melissa, I absolutely agree! One thing must also be said: his atypical technique CREATED his sound and style. The "wrong" notes were rationalized and integrated into the compositional framework, leading to the genesis of many rhythmic asymmetries. Therefore, an apparent technical limitation transformed into a source of inspiration and a point of strength. Let’s add that it’s virtually impossible for another conventional pianist (of any technical level) to play like Monk and mimic his sound. His was not just pianistic technique; he probably thought of: "digital technique to play my compositions." And it was perfect for his music, obviously. And vice versa; at the beginning his limitation "deformed" his compositions, but later it was also the discovery of his inner world of sounds that pushed and solidified his technique in that sense. Gianca, what can I say to you (besides the fact that you are stranger than us)... at least I appreciate the absence of the classic double one ;-)
