My God, how many pieces of junk like this I bought back then...

I don't know this album, and to be honest, Vecchioni leaves me with mixed emotions; he has written some beautiful things, but others are frankly questionable. The rating speaks for the review.

First of all, thank you all for the comments, but before I reply to each of you, I need to correct a mistake that I made out of distraction. At one point, I mention 6 discs, but in reality, they are 6 doubles, so the actual CDs are 12... So in order @Geek: (Jake, forgive me if I prioritize my "brother" EWF!) I know you know! However, I wouldn't recommend "Boys for Pele" for a beginner, but I would go chronologically, so "Little Earthquakes". Regarding "Y Kant Tori Read," maybe I'll do that someday, but not immediately; 8 reviews on the same artist in just over a year is a lot, let the poor DeBaseriani breathe! @Jake: I think I replied to you in my response to dear Geek, thanks for stopping by! @Azzo: Yes, you are probably right about the brilliance, but I think you will agree with me that it's very hard to remain "alienated" when talking about one's idols; as for Briscola, I think they aimed too high ;-) @Cortez: here’s Like A Prayer Tori recorded Like A Virgin some time ago as well, but here’s the first one. Bye and thanks! @Isi: you're happy, huh? ;-) @Francescobus: too kind, thank you! @Black: you're happy too, huh? ;-) on the very red (politically) lately I’m confused. @Fusillo: What’s missing is what I mentioned at the end of the review, and there’s also the Video Collection ("Fade to Red"), but honestly, I don’t see the point of reviewing it since it only contains songs already present in the Albums or in the Collections that already have their own nice space on DeB. Plus, in 2008 something of hers should come out (not a new album, but another live DVD is in the air). Also, the Red is circulating new bootlegs online, but if I decide to review all this, it will be much later. As I’ve said, I’ve already said a lot about Tori; I don’t want to bore anyone further ;-)

You could review anything. Period. And anyway, you're right to review things with "limited artistic weight" too.. this is DeBaser, folks, let’s not forget that.

Nice title of the album, I came here just for that because I don't know them.

@Sylvian: Yes, yes, I know that not everything gets through on DeB; I meant it's one of the sources, obviously there are others. Regarding Japan, you're definitely more experienced than I am, so I won't argue. Maybe it's that raw sound (almost glam, can I say?) that I like the most; I find the solo career a bit too "thought out" (not a disreputable term, by the way!).
@Isi: I go there once a month because my barber is also a friend as well as a music pusher, and then I have my beard done monthly... ;-)
Brad Anderson The Machinist (L'Uomo Senza Sonno)

A film that is, in its own way, monumental; a necessary review.

It's true that I often confuse the nicknames Sanjuro and Donjunio too (just for phonetic resemblance, not for the user's personality, for heaven's sake ;-) )..how nice to know I'm not the only one...as for their album, I never liked it.

Ah.. I want to prepare a review but I'm unsure about the subject: do you prefer "In Trancemission Vol.17" or "Milan Milan" by AA.VV?
