Ahem, when you choose a nickname, you do it based on your tastes and personality. If you stopped to read instead of kicking off right away, you would notice that my first comment is heading in this direction. But since you're a bit dense, let me explain: What tastes could someone with that nickname possibly have? Therefore, a gruesome nickname = gruesome tastes, only I've added a bit of irony, and honestly, having chosen this nickname, you should have at least a little bit of it too... You talk about people's feelings, but I doubt you even grasp this concept, and I'm nobody to explain it to you; you'll have to figure it out on your own. I may be a pain in the ass, but I assure you I'm not always charming; don't confuse good manners with kindness of heart. One last thing: I recommend you take less seriously what comes your way (at least here on DeB; real life is something else, and I don't know what yours is like). P.S.: I indeed read the review, and your apologies put that way can stay with you.

Dear Joe, I hold you in high regard as well and can only agree with your words. However, I sincerely no longer get angry about these things; I only intervened because I saw certain discussions resurfacing and thought it would be good to clarify a few points. Regarding the texts, I have been heavily influenced by Tori's style for years, and I'll give you a link to read (if you want) that might clarify what I think. Bye!

I advise you not to post more reviews about the same artist in such a short time; you risk diminishing the interest in all of them. A concise but effective review, I don’t know him well.

@Black: For its first four, this is, although it's a masterpiece, the least beautiful for me. Regarding the latest production, I think Mike wasn't just referring to this one but to the entire career, and the mistake was precisely there. Honestly, the problem is far from monotony; on the contrary, it's a lack of solid anchors. "American Doll Posse," as well as "Scarlet's Walk" and "The Beekeeper," might not please everyone, but they're definitely not monotonous. The real issue is that they lack homogeneity. I've said it before, and I'll repeat it: if they had been made by some trendy "singer-songwriter" of today (like Norah Jones, for example), there would have been miracles shouted from the rooftops. But with Tori, we expect more. Honestly, I've read some harsh criticisms from critics that are utterly unfounded—not because they speak poorly of it, because they can be allowed not to like it, but because they provide distracted analyses (like OndaRock, for instance) where it’s clear that the reviewer was doing something else while listening to the album. You can criticize it for millions of reasons, but when someone writes (and I quote): "And even when she tries to extract something original from the hat, see 'Programmable Soda,' a sort of puppet show with a vague aroma of Cocorosie, Tori seems uncomfortable," it means that it’s actually the Cocorosies who have clearly drawn inspiration from Amosian creations (forgive the neologism) from the '90s, citing something like "Mr Zebra" from "Boys for Pele." This signifies that not only haven't you listened to the album in question (or you’ve done so poorly), but you haven't listened to the previous ones, and probably not even to the Cocorosies. It’s not enough to write on an important site to be credible; one must argue with a sense of purpose and historical knowledge. Many critics often don't do this and hide highly debatable theses behind beautiful writing. I speak as a fan, perhaps, but who guarantees me that those writing such things aren't, for some reason, biased against Amos? I repeat, guys, scrutinize what is written and listen to the albums carefully, as it takes no time to get misled...

Dear Apple, first of all, thank you for all the insults you throw my way; it had been a while since it happened, and I thought the debaserians had already forgotten about me. Now, let me say this: if there's someone who truly hasn't understood anything, it's you. Did I perhaps offend you? I simply responded to an (ironic) question from a user with just as much irony (and it wasn’t offensive at all, so I won't even apologize for the misunderstanding because you should be the one apologizing for not grasping the meaning). If you don’t like these things happening, you can easily change your nickname and review other stuff, but that's not advice... I'm perfectly fine with you continuing with this nickname and this type of review; it always adds a bit of color. Just one thing: avoid launching curses against people (who are genuinely pissed off like I am and not faux alternative like you) that you don’t even know. May Peace be with You! (by the way, I'm not giving you a 1, and I didn't give you one before either…)
