Enrico Ruggeri Enrico VIII

"Non finirà" was initially released by Bertè in Savoir Faire. However, the promotion of the album was entrusted to Tenco's cover "Ragazzo mio" and Lanzetti's song "Una sera che piove," or at least that's what I seem to remember. In my opinion, it's more identifiable as a Ruggeri song.

"Nonetheless, in my humble opinion, he remains the most beautiful pen of Italian rock alongside Fausto Rossi, Emidio Clementi, and Giovanni Lindo Ferretti." This statement seems a bit audacious to me, especially since Ruggeri's most beautiful songs are certainly not rock.

Beautiful album with some masterpieces like Non Finirà and Il portiere di notte. The risk of being ridiculed is only because he has become an overexposed character. Genius and opportunist, in my opinion, is a fitting description. Si può dare di più is not a song by Ruggeri but only interpreted for Tozzi's relaunch. The latest album is very beautiful, much better than the last 5 or 6. Bye

However, it seems to me that it was Pirelli who determined Maroccolo's departure, forcing the group, already since Litfiba 3, into a more easygoing sound. It doesn't seem to me that Maroccolo was sidelined by Pelù and Renzulli. In fact, Pelù also participated in Maroccolo's beautiful solo album a few years ago.

It could be Gasolio, maybe I’ll listen again more attentively. I haven’t listened to this album in a while. It’s just that I have it on vinyl and I’ve become lazy about listening to vinyls since I don’t feel like flipping it over. Anyway, I think Finardi has always secretly sought commercial success, probably envying Camerini. A success that he will find with La forza dell'amore. Still, always dignified even in the lesser albums. Great Eugenio, what a character.

Better the albums before... from here on it seems to be in search of commercial success... anyway, the '80s albums aren't too bad either...

I can't believe there are so many positive comments about Roxette on this site.
