Il Genio Pop Porno

The song is actually quite nice. Obviously, it’s a pop song without any meaning or particular pretensions. It’s a trashy song, but of quality. There are songs from the past (Rocking rolling, Tropicana, Maracaibo, Kobra, the first ones that come to mind) that have a trash dignity; they are worthy of being remembered even though they lack any cultural depth. The reviewer, in my opinion, writes very well. However, I wouldn't pair Un'estate al mare (of quality) with Amico è, Tre parole, and Troppo bella. In these last three cases, we are truly facing low-level trash. The rest of the album by these guys from Puglia is really bad, but the single is very good. Very '80s. The harshness towards this song is mostly due to its national-popular success, to Ventura, and things like that. To the reviewer: sorry, but it's spelled Eurythmics.

The Negrita are really too much.
Amy Winehouse Back To Black

Yes, the reviewer is right. Nothing special. Let's say it's a bit above average. Reed, Bowie, Richards were truly at risk of dying from drugs. These modern singers, like that fool from Babyshambles, seem to do drugs on purpose to get into the newspapers.

Wow, I didn't know that, I'm getting this right away. The Madreblu were one of my favorite bands. Divine messengers of all my thoughts to the infinite border line we... Huge!

Recommended means that he is the son of Alberto Silvestri, who was a well-known television author, also co-author of the Maurizio Costanzo Show. It means that if you are born into a certain circle, as in all areas of life, it’s easier to become a singer-songwriter. Where I was born, there were a couple of very, very good bands, but they were from the Varese area, what can you do? In fact, now they all have desk jobs. In life, it’s not enough to be good. There are many factors. Anyway, I don't hold it against Silvestri for being a rich kid. If someone is lucky and born privileged, it's only right that they try to maintain that privilege. It’s just that I don’t like him, and he doesn’t sit well with me. Moreover, we are politically distant. Fabi, who is in the same situation, as his father was an important producer, is instead talented and deserving.

Look, to be honest, if I may say so. In my opinion, you are a curious guy who writes quite well. However, in many of your judgments, it is clear that you are very young. When you reach my age, which is double yours, and you have seen more than fifty concerts a year of every kind and species for over twenty years like I have, you will develop a better sensitivity and understand that Cristicchi is a bufaliber (as they say in Milan), that Silvestri is mainly a nepotism case, and that Gazzè is just okay. I grew up listening to De Gregori, the first Dalla, the first Daniele, Guccini—what do you want me to do, start listening to Latitante? If you want to truly educate yourself, dive into the period from 1975 to 1983 and don’t waste too much time with these people. Honestly.

Honestly, I think Cristicchi is truly dreadful. I've heard the various singles and they just didn't do it for me. The only talented one among the young Romans is Niccolò Fabi, and it's no coincidence that he has significant success. La cura del tempo was a masterful album. Even Gazzè sometimes has a spark of genius.

No, Gazzè is not a rich kid. He's nice and also, at times, good. The other Romans are a bunch. Angelini, Velvet, Pino Marino, Cristicchi...maigod...terrible. Angelini has a big merit. His partner is a real hottie.

In Rome there are too many singer-songwriters who are daddy's boys. Fabi, Silvestri... At least Fabi is good and likeable. It’s hard for me to admit that Silvestri’s first album was nice. But I would stop there. I’ll rise, I’ll rise... and then thrown away.

No, it's before Pescatore by a few months. I take back what I said.
