I like the Beastie Boys, but I'm missing this CD. Anyway, I wanted to point out one thing: "Discovery is Christina Aguilera with some bottom-of-the-barrel Unz Unz underneath: horrible sounds, nonexistent rhythms, and worse than the worst melodies so gay they make your ankle skin crawl." How much ignorance, arrogance, and presumptiveness there is in these words. I would have understood if you had said that about "Human After All," but to say similar things about "Discovery" is just pseudo-snobbery... "Discovery" might not be to your taste (and it's not for you), but what you’re saying is false, and it's an incredibly false statement.

I discovered Vannelli when I was young... and I consider this and "Powerful People" (with a special mention for "Big Dreamers Never Sleep") his best works! The title track and "Appaloosa" are evergreen tracks that shouldn’t be underestimated...
