Dear Maginboo, if I have to find a Vasco to """fixate""" on, I can only find him from "Ma Cosa Vuoi Che Sia Una Canzone" up to and including "Fronte Del Palco," because at least there was quality and, all things considered, the ability to create great works (see "Non Siamo Mica Gli Americani"). Period.

Because: 1) 90% of those who go to see him nowadays (and I’m talking only about Vasco from the last decade and a little more) probably think that even if he made an album of burps and farts, it would automatically become a work of art, perhaps in their eyes capable of surpassing even Captain Beefheart and Slint. Only 10% are fully aware that they go just to have a laugh. 2) Nowadays, the mentality of those my age that I know is mostly this: filling the stadiums = you're great; not filling the stadiums = you're a failure.
