Yes, okay, I may have exaggerated when talking about "courage," but it was meant in this light (unfortunately not specified right away): De André, in my opinion, was a genius, Gaetano was very good, but not a genius unlike Faber. But there are those who think otherwise. That's all. Maybe it's because I grew up listening to both and realizing the difference... but that's how I see it.

Without style, I wanted to open a sensible discussion without arguing. But unfortunately, it's well-known that in this world, there are plenty of idiots. Some throw the bomb, some hide their hands (to stay on topic). And sometimes it's even the same person, split into four but unable to admit it, with Pirandellian masks as false as Monopoly money. But shouldn’t DeBaser be a review site, where we try to discuss certain things without boiling down to quarrels like we’re on Maria De Filippi? Should I go call Primiballi an idiot because he said "the '90s were irrelevant, fake, hypocritical"? No sir, I won't do that, even though I completely disagree with him. I have gotten angry sometimes, and I’m the first to admit it, but honestly, lately, I don't want to stoop to the level of certain clowns who commented above, oblivious to the fact that the people I mentioned (including Giovagnini) must be turning in their graves reading their nonsense. It's tough being a sincere user around here, huh?

"Boys For Pele" is not at all hard to digest in my opinion; in fact, it is part of what I consider a perfect quadrilogy (which ends with "From The Choirgirl Hotel"). And I'm telling you this as someone who, as mentioned above, had previously started to delve into it with "Scarlet's Walk," after vague memories of "To Venus And Back" and also of "Under The Pink"...

The last still redeemable CD by Litfiba, even just for "Apri Le Tue Porte," "Sparami," and "Dottor M." Too bad about the horrible first version of "Ritmo" (the excellent electronic version is much better) and "In Fondo Alla Boccia" (what is that? A poorly executed post-binge operation?)... with those two tracks, there were already signs of a lack of oxygen.

An album that I greatly underestimated years ago. "Have You Ever Asked Yourself What Role You Have?" A question that perhaps has always been posed...

Beautiful, but the weakest of Consoli alongside "Stato Di Necessità".

I didn't comment right away... :D Gaio said things I wanted to express from the very beginning, namely that Amos, for better or worse, has always remained a dignified artist (I've also reevaluated her later albums, which may be less immediate than the early ones but are still great works). I regret not having explored her fully right away (I discovered her with "Scarlet's Walk," which was kindly provided to me by my uncle), but oh well... Back to the album, I still have to listen to it; I didn't know it was about to be released :D

Cornell, I had only given examples of instrumentalizations in musical terms; it was others who completely changed the discourse. And indeed, we find ourselves with delirious comments like number 22.

John, everyone is free to think what they want, but if I disagree on certain things, I should be free to say so, right? On the other hand, there are people who don't agree with things I think, but if they say it without complaining, it's not a bad thing...
