Review much better than the movie... :) Especially the judgment on Benigni and the sadness for his commercial turn... and then really... always this Braschi!!! And then... how can you embody Pinocchio at 48 (not even 40...) years old!?? Maybe an Oscar-induced drunkenness... Benigni should have played Pinocchio 25 years earlier directed by some great director, maybe Monicelli. A great opportunity and so much money wasted. 1 - True Art, the COMPLETE kind, is coherence. There is no incoherent work of art.
2 - Astral or cerebral are other terms I haven't used.
3 - One can "organize" a work of art both with reason and with instinct (I prefer the latter... you can feel the difference!)
4 - But what is the oxymoron? A crustacean? Or an equatorial plant? :)

My favorite of the four. Extreme musical maturity and inspiration at the highest level. I agree with everything in the review except that you glossed over the final medley "that we will find in the history books" a bit too much, considering it's the most characteristic moment of the album (aside from the single masterpieces...) ...since you "hyped" John for Come Together (which owes the riff to Paul...) and I Want You... you could have mentioned that this is McCartney's swan song. Ahhhhh these "McCartneynians"... what a pain in the ass! :)
