Besides, I know a number of psychologists, and none have ever mentioned this elusive theory you cite and take uncritically and erroneously as gospel truth. Anyway, I had a calm and I would say happy childhood; my parents are a solid couple, and I have always felt loved. But I do know that when I was 3 years old, I hit my head on the corner of the bathtub; maybe the shock made me gay. Sure, if you count the number of openly gay people, closeted ones, and repressed individuals (and there are many), it seems that shocks rain down like chestnuts.
