Well, I don't love ELP and Jethro Tull, although I've never really delved into them too much. Rush are amazing, and "Scheherazade..." is a wonder (do you know any other good albums by Renaissance?). Dave recommended Kansas to me, but I haven't gotten around to them yet :D I’m more into Canterbury, though. If you like symphonic prog, you should also enjoy some new prog, like Pendragon ("The World" is very nice, in my opinion), IQ or Arena ("The Visitor"), Echolyn... Although the best post-'70s for me are Anglagard. And then there's Italy; you might like Acqua Fragile, for example, but you probably already know them. You're right, there are plenty of them :DDD

Probably the best prog album I've listened to since the '70s.

I took care of it, indeed. Now as soon as I can, I’ll listen to it. It’s just that I have a ton of stuff to catch up on, and at the moment I'm slightly neglecting prog to fill some gaps (chasms?) I have on various rock milestones... blessed ignorance! Your favorite prog bands (besides the usual 3-4 well-known ones)?

Damn, another 5 of the day. Is it the heat that makes you write so well?? I agree with Flinstone regarding the grades (don’t take it the wrong way bjorky :-))

But if we had to keep only the music that makes us feel good, I guess we would have to throw away quite a bit of stuff... As for the fake ones, no lectures, they annoy me and I've said it. Period.

Sub Pop 200, yes, I wrote it down:-) Not very beautiful, of course, there are many lesser-known bands and not all the tracks are up to par. But it's a nice document.
