Human Rejection Torture Of Decimation

Aerosiphon, have you ever thought about pursuing a career in the Holy Inquisition? I doubt it’s these records that show us a society in complete decline... Anyway, I know nothing about brutal, but I’m always wary of those who criticize an entire (sub)genre just like that, tout court.

@MAH, look that the links work, you just have to pay attention to the spaces that form... Anyway, in my opinion, he can review whatever he likes, or should only the albums that deserve it be reviewed? So, for example, I who don’t know Asia, avoid spending money to get to know them :-)

In fact, a whole lifetime wouldn’t be enough! My "shopping list" proves it: I have enough to listen to for at least the next 6 months... and all of this leaving out jazz, classical, and blues, which I will have to start getting to know sooner or later! Anyway, if you need any more "progressive" information, let me know (for as much as I know!).

Uh-oh, I meant the eponymous High Tide album, "Sea Shanties," is the other record they made, but I've never listened to it...

Uh-oh, I almost forgot the immense "Mekanik Destruuktiw Kommandoh" by Magma (like mixing Coltrane with Wagner and the Carmina Burana).

I would recommend Canterbury: Caravan, Soft Machine, Matching Mole, Hatfield & the North, Khan. If you don't know them already, they offer a very jazz-infused prog sound. And then "Scheherazade & Other Stories" by Renaissance (with an incredible female soprano voice). If you're interested in a blend with hard rock, check out "Sea Shanties" by High Tide, or "Death Walks Behind You" by Atomic Rooster (much darker), or even the grandfathers of prog-metal, Rush (who I think you might already know). And then there's the "minor" Italian scene, with two names in particular: "Zarathustra" by Museo Rosenbach and the self-titled album by Biglietto per L'inferno. Of course, I've left out the more famous groups.
