Pib, Pib, from Renaissance to Cremonini you've made quite a leap. Hope you didn't hurt yourself? :-))))))

I do not agree with the notion that certain artists cannot be reviewed. Not at all. The review, as always, could have been better (when it comes to cult records, it’s always like that), but Wittgenstein, in my opinion, doesn’t apply here. The fact remains, however, that Joe's comment in the (wonderful) review by azzo is out of place, both in form and content. Now, though, just stop it.

It's not that it's bad, Turkish, but I preferred the previous one; it was more fun and unique, this one is a bit too serious, too "perfect" :-) Also, aren't the big letters a bit distracting? The worst part is the DeBaser text all in black. We'll have to get used to it :-)

@Antmo, it's curious that in the credits of that album it's written that Arm "plays" the bigmuff and Turner the superfuzz, as if they were actual instruments.

Yes, the first LP is self-titled, then the EP was released in the "plus early singles" version, which is the one I recommend (also for the presence of the "anthem" Touch Me I'm Sick). As for "grunge," as far as I know, the term was first used in reference to them, and the meaning of the word fits them perfectly. It's clear that Mud are one of the many expressions of the highly diverse Seattle scene, which by convention has taken on the overused name of "grunge." I think yet another discussion on this matter is rather pointless.

Go with Superfuzz, Bjorky, a 5-star album with your eyes closed :-)
