@don, okay I’ll try to get it. In the meantime, yesterday I got "On the Beach" and also "If I Could Only..." by Crosby. Do you approve? If there’s anything ā€œwestcoastianā€ that I should absolutely have, besides everything that has to do with Young and his other 3 buddies, feel free to recommend!

Anyway Battle, "Sea Shanties" is from '69 and sounds more "heavy" than a lot of metal from 15 years later, don't you think? :-) If you want, check out the other bands I mentioned, you should like them.

However, I haven’t played the Colosseum much, but I didn't remember them being as dirty and heavy as the High Tide. Rather, in that vein, I would mention the grand Arcadium, the Writing on the Wall, the Fuzzy Duck, the Buffalo, the Clear Blue Sky, the The Way We Live, the Black Widow, etc.

@Battle, you who are a metalhead, do you know High Tide? If not, hurry up and listen to "Sea Shanties" and you will see how much more you'll appreciate prog!

@Bubi, I usually avoid collections, but in this case it could be a good solution. I’ll take note of everything and see what I find. @Don, it's been waiting for me for a while on the shelf at the store :-) I have too much stuff to pick up :-((

Oh my gosh Don, I've been eagerly waiting for this, your page sweeps everything else away in hp :-) I like country west coast but unfortunately I still know very little about it. You are truly a guru on the subject! What should I listen to from Clark to get started?

@Bubi, Astral Weeks, found for the mere price of 6 or 7 euros. I must say that among the "singer-songwriter" records I know, it’s already on the podium (for my personal taste, of course), more or less on par with Young's "Tonight's the Night" and just below the unattainable "Happy Sad" by Buckley. As for Petty, which album do you recommend to get to know him? I had noted "Damn the Torpedoes" (which, however, has a terrible cover, it looks like Nino d'Angelo :D).

@capitano, now they are opening up, yesterday they didn’t want to know anything :-) I will delve into Petty, even though it seems a bit "light" for my tastes. @iside, unnecessary? Are you kidding! @Bubi, well, I've already bought an album by Van Morrison and I will buy more, I really like it. Thank you.
