Yes Psycho, but I told you that they wouldn't be to your liking, too progressive, too "romantic," and their sound is too "sweet" for you to enjoy. In any case, for me they remain far from the toilet bowl; I admit, though, that they are a bit boring. Well, the Patto album that you've forgotten is a damn great record, by the way, with stunning artwork. I'll pay Chris a visit for these Wizards then, thanks. @Conte, well, I wouldn't know how to explain it to you in words, especially because the expert here is Psycho and maybe he can explain it better to you; it's psychedelic folk with a bit of acid, maybe a little dark and hallucinatory sounds, like in the case of Comus, whose "First Utterance" I highly recommend listening to—it's a true masterpiece in its genre.

What you're missing is that they are the Pact? I thought you said you had taken them... Of all the ones you’ve taken, I only have the Springs (but did you like them? The first two tracks are stunning, but then they get a bit boring in my opinion) and I only know the first three :-(( Zior, Leaf Hound, and Titus Groan are ones I've wanted to get for a while (am I doing the right thing?), the others, aside from Neu and Can, I’ve never even heard of. That means I’ll add them to the already long list! Who knows if I’ll ever find them... Regarding acid folk, I was thinking of Comus; I didn’t think you considered Perhacs "acid," but it makes sense, actually. I'm unfamiliar with Fahey and will look into it. So, I thank you for the valuable advice, and I tell you to screw off for the gastritis.

Mmm, inspired by the '70s progressive, but which one? And then you start talking about AOR, pop-rock, Queen, and then I lose my urge :-) Good review as always.

Thanks for stopping by, psycho (and thanks for the appreciation), I'm glad you also appreciate this little disc that is a gem for me. At this point, though, you need to give me the names of those folk bands that make me want to come down with gastritis too! Not to mention that I've already gotten a bit of it thinking about all the records you picked up in Tokyo... (Oh, by the way, the limited edition mini-LP reissues from Repertoire are all around 17-18 euros, there's no escaping that).

I’m seriously wondering if any bad records have ever come out of Canterbury. Unfortunately, almost all of these bands are virtually unknown.

The comment from Longliverock is beautiful. @Cornell, in any case, artists of this caliber are never talked about enough.
