@47, there are two of us ;-) The review, however, tackles topics that have been heard millions of times, well-written but unnecessary.

Honestly, I was not aware of the existence of this album; nonetheless, the two studio albums by this group are both masterpieces of dark hard-prog, especially the first one, which is devastating. All in all, they are not as forgotten as you say; certainly a bit underrated considering the extremely high quality of their works (I still haven't found a hard-prog album superior to their two). Anyway, I don't know about this album, but in the others, it seemed to me that Hill was the main singer, not House (I could be wrong).

Well, since you speak so highly of it, I’ll give it another listen. I remember that when I was in my PJ phase, this was always the album I found least convincing, a bit boring except for a couple of tracks. For now, it remains a 3 out of 5, just like the next one, which I like a little bit more.

I agree with LucaGranziero, I've been reading 19th-century Russians for years and my balls are still intact; calling them a hammer to the balls is truly absurd. Shall we talk about Gogol' who, aside from "Dead Souls," wrote all kinds of delightful stories? Or the novels of Turgenev or Goncharov? Even "Anna Karenina" is very readable, despite being long, and Dostoevsky, besides the 5 hefty novels (which are still splendid and quite readable), wrote a ton of short stories and novellas. If you can't handle reading the Russians, that's your problem, but don't go spouting nonsense randomly.

Well, interesting! Sweden, even in the '90s, was generous with high-level progressive bands (Anglagard, to name one).

Well, a hp that simultaneously features Kak, Indian Summer, Abercrombie & Towner, Stockhausen, Amor Fou, Nawrocki, Arcadi Volodos, Napoli Centrale, Jake McLean, etc. is a sign of a site that’s still going strong, in defiance of dreamtirists and shitposters :-)

@psycho, that Tractor album is devastating, damn, explosive, heavy as hell yes but not only that, I’d say it’s also quite delirious. I didn’t remember the album titled The Way We Live being this out of this world, anyway I’ll refresh my memory.
