Ah the votes, if the foundations of Italian rock are in the hands of copycats from across the Channel, let the temple fall! In some forgotten city in the USA, there are at least a thousand unknown bands that can bore us less than these.

If he were dead, Robert Fripp would be turning in his grave........let's not blaspheme, King Crimson could teach even the Cugini di Campagna how to play.
Max Pezzali Time Out

The best part of the review is "The songs may be a bit monotonous, due to the constant reuse of old rhythms, but they come across as fun and pleasant to the ear!" If he then gives it a five, he has completely succeeded in making it impossible for the few lucky ones who don't know Pezzali to understand anything at all.

Thin City? It is inspired by "Invisible Cities" by Calvino, the visions of a tightrope walker balancing on the taut wires of a city that does not exist.

Lake's voice in "I Talk to the Wind" by King Crimson is spine-chilling. It's one of those things that will remain etched in my memory about progressive, not Di Giacomo singing lalarallalla' in "Non mi svegliate."

Marlowe/Elliot Gould (who goes at three in the morning to buy cat food at the nighttime supermarket) to the astonished black clerk:
"Why don’t you have a cat?"
The clerk: "What do I need a cat for? I have a girlfriend!"
My friend Lello directed at me: "But here you have the brand new Banco album, have you only listened to it once?"
And I: "What do I need Banco for? I have Emerson, Lake & Palmer!"

I still have the vinyl with the Roger Dean cover here, unfortunately (or fortunately) now worn out from being passed through too many hands. Great album. Great skill showcased even with the brief solo interludes. A great band that lasted only three albums (The Yes Album, Close to the Edge, and this one). Progressive: a genre that later became mired in various and mixed borrowings and was consequently and naturally swept away by the vitality of punk!!!

@manliuzzo how can you have Banco as your favorite prog band when they should be cited for plagiarism by ELP's "Tarkus" (who, after all, did a lot of borrowing themselves)? Anyway, a few summers ago I saw Keith Emerson live and I assure you he still makes you feel emotions with Bach fugues and keyboards being slammed left and right. When I saw Banco live, thankfully I had brought my thermos of coffee........ anyway: long live Van der Graaf Generator!!!!

In this case, Poletti is right; Totò should always be given a 5!! He would have saved even a piece of rubbish like Howard the Duck... Moreover, several acclaimed directors in these discussions should be rewarded as he rewards the painter of the imitation de Picassò in "Totò a colori."

Citing "The Conversation," I can't help but think of "Rear Window," especially for the suspense surrounding the retrieval of the typewriter. The old Hitch still teaches us a thing or two in 2000! The film struck me as quite "sycophantic"; I preferred "Breach"—the infiltrator—of a similar genre. The actor playing the role of the spied writer is excruciatingly dull in his expressiveness; much better is the spy—he's the one who really sticks with you.
