review of Howlin Rain already posted, beware of those who speak ill of it (the album, not the review). I CONFIRM: '70s rock and not country ballads

I apologize for the typo regarding the lack of reviews on Debaser, but as usual, I must have typed Syndacate instead of Syndicate, and clearly nothing came up. I was fortunate enough to see Thin White Rope live, but perhaps reluctantly I would swap that for a concert by Dream Syndicate.

çgbrunoro: you confuse the first global success (and therefore the "legitimization") of the independent film outside of a Hollywood major (a point I also emphasize in the review) with the "invention" of independent cinema in the USA, for which, without going too far back and with unknown names, one can at least mention the work of John Cassavetes with "Shadows" and "Faces," much earlier than Easy Rider.

"the gala event" trip-hop? It's an 'ottake dub from Sandinista by the Clash, light-years behind. A useless record in my opinion; do yourself a favor and save 8 euros.

It doesn’t seem logical to me to spend half a review on Patricia Kennealy instead of the less-than-idyllic relationships between the band members. I saw it in theaters when it came out, and it seemed more focused on showmanship than on exploring the greatness of the Morrison myth. After all, that’s characteristic of Stone. Frankly, I didn’t even like how it captures the atmosphere of those years; in fact, it doesn't really capture it at all, it merely sketches it.

@mauro 60 says that without "Pawn Heart," the other albums bore him! How can tracks like "Killer," "House with no door," "Refugees," and "My room" be boring? Can someone explain it to me without boring me, please?

Well done, Lariana, Ombre Rosse, even though it does not take place on the motorcycles or cars indicated by Poletti as a prerequisite for the road movie, it contains its essence. The journey as a cathartic moment, the characters revealing their true selves from the initial impression to the final outcome, redemption for some, perdition for others.

Honestly, I struggle to place Van der Graaf in the progressive genre, and I don't understand those who love them and do so with such ease. Just listen to a "ballad" like Man Erg to grasp the sweetness and anger they are capable of, unlike so many other mediocre bands of the genre. Honestly, I have no desire to hear them recreate today, at sixty years old, those pieces that I enjoyed live back in the day.
