Listen to me, start reviewing the knitwork and doilies they make in Priverno Fossanova.

but how can you give this record a 5? you must have your ears stuffed with thick Valtellina speck. Gillan is hilarious when he gets into the role of the demonic singer screaming Death!!! Death!!! or Tequilaaa... Ronnie Dio sweeps him away in a nanosecond. Ward and Butler do the routine work with a fraction of the results from the first album. And this person gives it a five... go to the races as a horse.

Great album from the Buffalo Killers, but let's not forget about Clutch.

I preferred the first two more, with nice guitars in the second one, when Barlow mocks Jon Spencer's operation with the Blues Explosion using the name Folk Implosion. The words of the review really capture the essence of these slackers and their goals, if they ever had any.

The fact is that the best composer of Free, Andy Fraser, only writes a couple of songs on this album, whereas in the following ones he will be almost the sole composer along with Rodgers' lyrics, and Free will have a greater rock personality compared to this great debut, which is a tribute to the blues. Anyway, "The Hunter" is by Steve Cropper with the whole crew from Booker T. & the MG's, while Albert King was just one of the many who covered it.

Keep in mind that this record came out in 1980 and I believe Escovedo wasn't even playing anymore.

@mien, for me the only interest in this band is the fact that it was the first group of the great singer/guitarist Alejandro Escovedo, one who later formed excellent post-punk bands in L.A. like Rank and File and True Believers, and then ended up playing alternative roots rock collaborating with people like Los Lobos and Ryan Adams' Whiskeytown, in addition to releasing great solo albums. Other than that, the Nuns are marginal; this record is on the verge of a 3, especially for her who wants to be the Debbie Harry of the situation.

Don't worry, because it's a sport loved (unfortunately) by few; too much effort but also a ton of fun and freedom. Anyway, if you're interested in exploring more...

Beautiful avatar Ole...I might just add the one of my favorite athlete from the sport I practice...John Tomac.

Greetings to all friends, both near and far. @bjorky: I believe it's a black panther. @dott fotter is right, Mystery Spot is inferior to this, but it has in its arsenal arrows like the drummer from Clutch and a super track like "The Ballad Of Sister Ruth," which pumps you up like "Born to be Wild" by Steppenwolf... Anyway, it's only rock 'n' roll and I like it! Regarding the issue of reviews discussed by Ole and Zaireeka, it seems to me that there are already valid tools like clicking on "most voted" or "most appreciated." Maybe it would be better to highlight these links already on the homepage.
