And here’s where the donkey falls: "To put it on the OBJECTIVE, I would say that if Grinderman had been the first work of some random idiot, nobody would have given a damn about it." This is your fundamental mistake, dear Rita/RitoLeen. Because if this album had come from some unknown idiot, we all would have (myself included) praised it because it's a great derivative record from Bo Diddley, the Stooges, the Suicide. But since it comes from an acclaimed veteran like Nicolino, it strikes me that his "No pussy blues" has the IDENTICAL structure to "Rocket USA" from thirty years ago and "Love Bomb" sounds like a piece from Bob Diddley from fifty years ago. He could have spared us that.

But there’s no doubt, Bartle, the tracks are electric upheavals of the blues foundations powered by wah-wah distortion pedals at full throttle. Perhaps the comparison to a sort of speed metal like Motörhead can come from a piece like "Come and get in."

Do Litfiba suck? Come on, their worst album is still better than any of the Black Sabbath albums with Ozzy, isn’t that right, starblazer? But for crying out loud, don’t you realize how ridiculous you sound? You said you’re 16? Spend the rest of your time listening to music instead of wasting it writing monstrosities.

Well, we should turn Joe Cavalli's phrase upside down: "I hope you know the real prog well enough."

There’s enough material to write a book on the covers of "Satisfaction", excluding those by Otis Redding and Aretha Franklin, who are both exceptional artists. I’d say the strangest one isn’t by Devo, but by Cat Power.

Indeed, as I mentioned before, the Echo of the early records has nothing to do with the music, the attitude, the lyrics, or the philosophy of the Lato Luminoso...
