In short, Uncle Frankie discovers that in the 1700s there lived this cellist from Milan, and by pretending to be the reincarnation of him, he tracks down his works, plays them himself, and feeds them into the synclavier, which is basically a digital machine that allows you to adapt and modify the music that comes out, sounding rather mechanical just like an orange. All this happened in a few months of '84 during the little free time left by other "serious" projects. I wonder if there's a grade to be given. If the reviewer loved it madly, it means he has lost his mind over Zappa. And in my opinion, it's one of the best fortunes that can happen to someone who listens to music.

..oh my God, slight Cajun influence... basically Landreth grew up in the band of the King of Zydeco, Clifton Chenier, who is the Black version of Cajun music, so Landreth was the first white person to play in that group of color. You can hear the zydeco in "C'est chaud," while "Cajun waltz" is clearly Cajun. The backing vocals and rhythm are by Mark Knopfler (he plays a National guitar with open tuning on "Creole angel"), and on piano is the great Alain Toussant. Fantastic record.

@saputello it’s easy to understand why many Venetian workers have shifted from the left to the League in no time. These are sad times; people are focused on their own issues, and the philosophy that "a dog is well only if the owner is well" is triumphing. Once, workers used to say that private property is theft; today, they fiercely defend their little house built with extra pay. I was reading about an Albanian worker who was legal and praised Fini; when his comrades mocked him, saying Fini is among those who want to shut out foreigners, he responded that it's better this way, because he is fine now and prefers not to have others competing with him...

I'd be cautious in saying that it's only the League defending workers. I have several friends who work up north, and they tell me that while it's true that workers there vote for the League, the League's union is a joke. For issues related to money or various disputes, they all turn to the "communist" unions that know how to deal with the bosses. At this point, I would tell them to screw off, but you know how these things work; one hand washes the other, and both wash the face.

Sure that this is absolutely not a masterpiece. And I too, like a psycho, am uncertain about the second of... Second Hand, even though it's a crazy record that all enthusiasts should listen to at least once in their lives, just like they do for LSD. It gives me the impression of a Frank Zappa who has completely converted to progressive, listen to the distorted voices in "Lucifer and the Egg."

The tragic thing is that, unfortunately, today we need utility more than lightness. We can no longer afford to be light because we risk spending our lives in the dark waiting for the night to pass. The first dramatic part of your writing clashes heavily with the "lightness" of bellavista. Today, we don't even stop to listen to the little story of the rocking horse that with Pazzaglia drew the crowd. Personally, I am very pessimistic; if you think about the users of this site, I won’t say the totality, but the overwhelming majority thinks that Naples deserves the garbage and regrets that the community has to pay for trains to Germany. Then, in another review, I was discussing with someone, reminding him that the industrialists from the north saved heaps of money by entrusting the disposal of their toxic waste to the camorra, who came to bury it right here, far from the North and without treating it. So what do you expect the users of Debaser to understand from your outburst?

Nothing derogatory towards the non-EU immigrant washing the windshield; I always let him do it even if I've just come out of the car wash, that's why I made the comparison with the useless. Poletti, you can be Veltronian, Finian, Berlusconian, Ferrandian, or whatever you want, and I wouldn’t dare say a thing, but the fact remains that you are a CIALTRONE who wishes death in the garbage upon others (along with their families), who says "fuck off" to cinema and then still comments on it, who puts himself on a pedestal to judge those poor fools who watch films, perhaps reviewed by il_paolo. You are the QUINTESSENCE of today's disgust because you hide behind a windbreak of progressivism but you are a fascist; when you add it all up, there’s no difference between you, a Veltronian, and the other Berlusconians. That’s why there is no longer a left in Italy. @alessioiride, my comment wasn't a critique of your outburst but a bitter observation; leave aside De Crescenzo's oleography, who is a good person and therefore does not make baseless judgments, but lives in Rome, and I even had a nice chat with him on the train. The Naples of his films is a caricature already out of touch with the times, he is out of touch with the times, and his is the synthesis of an impotent.

@alessioiride I'm sorry, but on Debaser this review is as useful as a non-EU national washing your windshield at the traffic light between Via Marina and Corso Garibaldi. Just look at the latest posts from two characters who are mentally at their wits' end. Especially the poletti-filoveltronian who comes here to deliver a moralistic lecture and then wishes other users to die in the garbage along with their whole family.

Even powerdrift has come to be the professor of garbage, clap clap clap. Don't stress your brain too much, powerdrift, save it to avoid getting a four on your class assignment.

What the hell do you know about what happens in Naples? Think about the killer who could be your neighbor coming back from the mall, maybe his name is Olindo or Erika.
