From this perspective (the qualities of the film), it struck me as odd that no one notices the similarities of the underlying moral with "Indagine su di un cittadino al di sopra di ogni sospetto" by Elio Petri (perhaps because it is chronologically quite distant from the majority of the users of this site): power exonerates itself.

I lost it just on the day they were screening it a stone's throw from my house with the presence of the director; I hope to catch it again soon.

I understand which critic you are referring to; more than once it seemed to me that he had poorly digested certain alternative dishes.

@muito as a kid I was crazy about this:
I still have the translated lyrics: Fotti colui che è orientato politicamente / C'è qualcosa che ti vorrei dire / Sullo stato della nazione / Sul modo come ci trattano oggi / A scuola ti danno merda / Ti lasciano cadere in un abisso senza fondo / Tu cerchi e cerchi e cerchi di uscirne fuori / Ma non puoi perché ti hanno fottuto / Allora tu sei il primo esempio di quanto essi non possano farlo / Questo è quello che fanno a te e a me / Ci devono la vita?
Certainly they owe us life / Ci devono la vita? Cazzo ce la devono! / They don't want me anymore / Because I wasted it on the floor / They called me sweetness / But I'm nobody's fun / And now that I'm different / They would love to smash my head / They would love to punish me / They would love to see me dead / The life that belongs to me I have no intention of giving to anyone / They have fucked this old world / For something you didn't do they'll compile a summary of your mistakes / Don't care what the public thinks / They are all hypnotized by television / They use you as a target for questioning and injunctions / When you don't want to listen to them they'll tell you you're full of vices / Ci devono la vita? Cazzo ce la devono!

Look, the statement from the reviewer "hard and pure... who make physical and psychological resistance to the system, to adversity, a banner and a point of pride" is what feels stereotypical here. Personally, I don't believe RATM fits into this category, and that's why I expressed my opinion thinking I was offering a helpful critique. If you agree, I'm glad; if not, I acknowledge that.

this album doesn't deserve a 5 even under torture; if, as rightly pointed out by the eponymous track "Mountains," they have returned to a certain blues, why not mention the worthy "MK II" from 1969, where they create a kind of progressive crossover with the addition of horns to their hard blues? It’s an album that deserves a listen and maybe even a review on debaser.

Larrock doesn't start any discussion since we've already done that in another review. I don't criticize them for this, but for this legend of tough and pure artists who sell a bunch of records to kids with Che Guevara t-shirts and their phones shoved in their jeans. For me, a concert by an old-timer like Jorma Kaukonen, who gets on stage for a few people wearing a shirt that says "impeach Reagan," holds much more value. Everyone has their own quirks; I recognize mine.

@spacca: homonymy, my nickname is taken from "Two-Lane Blacktop," a film by Monte Hellmann of which there is a review.

The reviewer says pure and hard like them, but who are the Fugazi or the Dead Kennedys of Jello Biafra? Who is hard and pure and makes "physical and psychological resistance to the system, to adversity a flag and a pride" doesn't sign billion-dollar contracts with Epic/Sony nor goes to the concert with their phone on, which for me is the symbol of the triumph of the system.
