Manic Street Preachers Postcards From A Young Man

I agree with pinkholler. Honestly, based on the reviews, I would expect something different. While I liked this one for its style, the fact that it has a little heart next to it somewhat disappoints me, because for example, there’s hardly any discussion about the album or it's discussed too little. And that’s not what I expect from this site, which still remains, potentially, a stroke of genius. We're drifting away from the "focus," with the approval of those in charge... so I guess it’s fine as is.

errata corrige: I wanted to give the album 2 stars... mistake. Sorry LONDON if I stole your job. I hope you don’t hold it against me.

Long live you, who chose to share with all of us your brilliantly overcome youthful struggles. You made me want to listen to the Manics, also and especially because you spoke very little about the album. I hope the wedding was fun, that your break from drugs can become total, and to encounter more people out there who are so viscerally attached to music (I am one of those). Bye
Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band London Calling Live in Hide Park

Well done. Great review, maybe a bit long, but it oozes passion and expertise. You almost make me want to try, for the twentieth time, to like the Boss, but by now I've lost hope. The E-Street Band is impressive, and the sound they deliver live didn’t leave me indifferent. The problem is that, in my humble opinion, it lacks "substance"... because, drumroll please, I find the Boss a bit predictable and a tad too self-congratulatory. And I say this with regret, because I really like him as an image, as a genre, as a crowd-puller, but over the years Bruce hasn't managed to show me that bit of "genius," that quid pluris I expect from someone of his stature and fame. In short, honors to the Boss, but I wouldn't go see him live again, because I spent a fortune and struggled to make it to the end. Therefore, for me, the live experience is just fine sitting on the shelves, or at the homes of those who, like you, feel emotions from it.

Great review, great album. The lead vocalist is a wasted talent. The guitarist is a real looker. The drummer is a sly one...

I too saw Verdena live. They were all underage, but they really rocked. At the end of the concert, we helped them load their stuff into the van since they couldn’t afford fuckini... and all of that is very grunge. In return, they offered us a cigarette, and I don’t even smoke. I'm glad they never made it to the mainstream audience; it's not part of their project. At least for now, I hope the porters can afford them. DIVERSI.

I don't know them. I'll make up for it. You won the synthesis race, but that's not necessarily a good thing. I understood very little, for example, but that might be my limit. I'll listen to them to compensate, so anyway, you sparked my curiosity. Obbbbbiettivo debaseriano achieved. BYE

How strange... yet I don’t seem to recall reviewing White Ladder. I must be mistaken. Another odd thing is that I think I spoke well of "please forgive me." And the judgment on the author, in the end, is calmly positive. Perhaps we speak different languages.
Anyway, thanks for coming a todos.

DISGUSTORAMA! It sounds like a book review. He might be a good wordsmith, BUT THE MUSIC? Retro video game beats from the '80s with the most pumped-up bass. Clichés galore with rhymes crafted solely for shock value, trying to pass off as tough (of this crap). For the first time, I’m writing about an album I haven’t heard, and I hope I never hear it EVEN BY MISTAKE, given the previous records. MUSIC IS SOMETHING ELSE. The effort I made to avoid swearing (except for ā€œminchia,ā€ which is just an interjection...) was tremendous. Sorry, I’m off to vomit now.
