Is all the crap that comes his way not simply Povia's fault?

Yesterday I saw the album in a store. My survival instinct prevented my hand from picking it up to take a look. I'm used to listening to my instincts, and it's a shame, because one day this man half blues, half rock, half soul used to appeal to me. Passionate review.

While recognizing the greatness of this work and the group itself, both tend to bore me a little over time. High-level review.

I just re-read it... and I'm a bit confused myself... am I me or am I white? If he has more money than me, I hope I’m him. If he’s older than me, I hope I’m me. But a doubt arises: what if felo = daniel's? It would explain a lot... the same unjustifiable rage to unleash while vomiting judgments hiding behind anonymity. But what if I were Felo? It would be even cooler... especially because he claims to be 11 and writes like my grandfather. And what if John was Mick with Botox and an octave lower? Okay, anticipating all the fakes of the fakes, I’ll go back to fucking around.
The Beatles Please Please Me

Dear White68 (my alter ego???), the discussion is getting interesting. I should mention that I played "Paul" in a Beatles cover band for years, and our repertoire mainly focused on the first 5 albums of the fab4. I love the SAW and I had a blast playing both PPM and T&S. That said, what you assert is true, but the Beatles I thrive on are the ones from '66 onwards, way too different from those of '63. There’s no comparison (I’m talking about "historical weight") between an album like the WHITE and Please Please Me. I must consequently establish a hierarchy, and although their first work is bubbly, important, and certainly unique, the initial works of the FAB (as well as the ones immediately following) take a very back seat. Then, to get into specifics, songs like ANNAgotohim, atasteofhoney, etc. are really too light and useless for my tastes, especially when compared to the masterpieces of Holly or, why not, ELVIS. It seems clear that I adore the 4 from Liverpool, but I haven’t listened to With The Beatles, A Hard Day's Night, and Beatles For Sale in years.

Rock&roll, that's what we're talking about. We'll talk about POP (in a positive sense) later. If the Beatles had stopped at this album, few would consider them revolutionary. Fresh tracks, well-played, lively, but I wouldn't go much further. Many were playing and recording at that level back then. Of course, the fact that it was recorded in just a few hours shows professionalism and blah blah, and anyone with a decent ear can already catch hints of the glories to come... but in my humble opinion, Please Please Me really doesn't leave a lasting impression.

A passionate review that exposes itself to the tide of insults that the Pooh a bit (with the apostrophe) undoubtedly deserve. If nothing else, you kept it short, so I read it. But from there (with the accent) to actually listening to the album is quite a leap. The "musical project" of the 4 grandpas has never really impressed me, and I'm sorry to say, but seeing them play is truly pitiable.
