No matter how much time passes, good ideas are always recognizable. It's true that today it's aged and no longer instills fear, and there are things that have been seen a million times and we already know how they end. But amid poor photography, a fitting soundtrack, and protagonists not dumb enough to make you hope they die quickly, this film conveys a sense of sickness, suffocation, and decay like few others.
