Guns N' Roses Use Your Illusion I
Voto:
Maybe it's because I've listened to it too little, or maybe it's because I find Axl Rose irritating, but this album doesn't convince me. I'm starting to hate Don't Cry and November Rain from hearing people consider them masterpieces of Guns N' Roses; the same goes for those who judge I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing as the best by Aerosmith and Nothing Else Matters as the most beautiful by Metallica, just to give an example.

I thought I was the only one who knew about them, but they never really excited me much, except for Leviathan.

I was only able to see the last part of this film, which was quite inspiring.

I agree with what ale9t0 said, although I'm not a big fan of Mayhem; if you had to be upset with some ridiculous band, you had Gorgoroth within reach. The review (well done) leaves me rather astonished, having always believed that Brian Warner, at the time of the album's release, had nothing left to say apart from the usual nonsense.
Carcass Necroticism: Descanting The Insalubrious
Voto:
Great album, and I'm saying this as someone who rarely listens to death metal and not at all to grindcore. I've always found Carcass's lyrics full of irony, which seems uncommon among bands that discuss gruesome themes.

Exhaustive and intriguing as always, master.

They inspire me, oh how they inspire me, damn if they inspire me! Of course, I never find anything of theirs around and I only have a few of their songs...

I am interested. A group to be revered just for the name.
