It always seemed to me like a movie, just like its predecessors, to avoid like the plague. I must have seen a piece of it on TV (is that possible?) and I changed the channel after thirty seconds of lousy shots... But maybe I'm completely mistaken!

I personally WORSHIP Watchmen, and I was fortunate enough to read it more than a year before the movie's release: I consider it one of the best things ever written (exaggerated?). You managed to review it excellently, C.G., without revealing too much of the plot, especially since I've repeatedly given up on writing about it myself. I imagine that for someone who hasn't read the comic, this review must be absolutely inviting!

Making a film comparable to the original Watchmen is absolutely impossible, and our Zack has realized this perfectly, managing to lighten the plot without distorting it too much. The actors did a great job as well, although a lot of the anti-heroism and infinite sadness that permeates the comic is lost. I hope that after watching the film, more people will read the comic.
