It's certainly not a masterpiece, but it’s a decent film without a doubt. Endless quotes (even from "Kraven's Last Hunt," a Spider-Man comic) that create a story that's quite enjoyable. We are far from films like Reservoir Dogs, obviously, but it’s good entertainment, albeit hindered by perhaps excessive length. I would give it a three and a half, which I round up, also due to so many ratings that are truly unwarranted.

I'm not that fond of Grohl either; he produces a few decent songs, or rather, he would if he had any sense of aesthetics instead of stuffing them with annoying choruses. Mediocre, that's it, but not terrible.

I am neither a Christian nor a Gospel scholar, so I will shamelessly go by memory: the Herod of the Massacre of the Innocents was Herod the Great, while the Herod of John the Baptist was his son, Herod Antipas. Secondly, it seems to me that Christ was condemned to a punishment typically handed down to rebels and common criminals precisely because the faith he advocated, among other things, was irreconcilable with the Roman vision of the emperor as a divinity, thus threatening the established Roman order.
