Great page and ending, I agree, important. Very good film despite the flaws you mention: full of quirky characters, irony and quotes here and there. And usually, cinema that makes citationism and an ironic gaze its foundational hallmark makes me spend the night on the toilet.

I’ll watch this in some Chinese pirated copy just because there’s Batman. People who consider Avengers a fantastic movie said that Batman v Superman is terrible. I thought Avengers was really disgusting, so this film is going to be one of the worst experiences of my life. But I owe it to the bat. As for Zack Snyder, everything has been said; how Watchmen can be a good movie is a mystery. There’s also the fact that there is no comparison between Watchmen the book and other superhero comics.
