Skrillex Leaving EP
Voto:
This EP clearly demonstrates who Skrillex really is: a guy with decent skills who has so far urgently presented a certain type of extremely commercial music (which, as far as I’m concerned, is absolutely unbearable) without any pretensions of artistic merit. Leaving, with its whiff of Burial, is a decent track (probably the only Skrillex song I can listen to all the way through). This may either be a concession to a certain ambition of our party boy to produce something with a bit of dignity (remember when on his FB page Sgrillecs posted some videos of Burial and Aphex Twin and was flooded with comments from his idiotic fans "ke skifo!!!1! Dv'è il DROP???") or he is attempting to see what he can come up with once the Brostep he has proposed so far goes out of style (let's hope it's sooner rather than later), perhaps trying to produce something listenable (with what results remains to be seen).
Psy Gnam Gnam style
Voto:
So, the review is as pleasant as a scrotum in the face upon waking up, and I sincerely hope it’s the work of a fake. Gangnam Style, on the other hand, is just another YMCA/Disco Inferno/Macarena that became known abroad thanks to the absurd music video, and I would say there’s not much to say about it. Songs like this pop up every now and then, and maybe it’s even less bad than another Latin American crap like Aserejé.
Overkill Taking Over

Alright, all good, but not an extra point for the cover, no way.

Driftin' Back is colossal, I have to listen to the whole album.

Great album, one of the best of 2012, I've chosen it as my personal summer anthem.
Ministry Rio Grande Blood
Voto:
Nothing special, but if you're looking for a laid-back and unpretentious buzz, this record isn't too bad. However, I definitely prefer the remix album Rio Grande Dub, which is much less monotonous. Khyber Pass, as far as I remember, is the best song in both versions of the album.
The Velvet Underground The Velvet Underground & Nico
Voto:
As I've said several times, less nonsense like this and more people like Korn.

I love to see so much hate
Chemical Brothers Further

This is the album of theirs that I like the least: Push the Button and We Are The Night, although they have too many ups and downs, still feature some amazing tracks that are missing here. The Salmon Dance, Believe, and Galvanize are fabulous to me, and I wouldn't retract this statement even in front of the Inquisition.

I like them but I haven't delved into them much, the review is excellent.
