I don't know how to tell you this, but only that dickhead Blackdog can come here and give you 4 instead of 5...

A little envious, but I would have had to travel 800 km for just a little over an hour (I did it for the Stooges three years ago, and it was worth it). Can you give me a bit of the setlist? Like 12 X U or Heartbeat?

A greeting and a thank you to the newcomers. @Ghemi, have you lost it? :-). @Vivis, hi meu amor, yes, he eats them all. @Super, yes, Billy Bragg, a guitar and the attitude of a punk (angry and ready to change the world). Bragg when he wanted to turn it upside down, so during the miners' strike, while Vasco is defeated from the start. More a matter of approach than musical affinities. @Trell: Diaframma, who knows! Although Vasco has expressed his admiration for them. As for New Model Army, I've barely explored them. To me, it seems that the diversity of Brondi's songwriting lies in its intensity (maybe a really angry Lolli?).

Good job, Isi! I’m sorry if I disappointed you a little. To me, it seems quite melodic, and I think the shouted parts are the coolest aspect of the singing. But what do you think about the lyrics?

@Fusi, my dear hater, you have become my Court of Cassation: if you say it’s 'na palla, you’re confirming that I was right :-). Thanks also to Zanna, Mary, Ole, and Ema.
Public Image Ltd. Second Edition

I too was exhausted by the review, sorry. Furthermore, it was necessary to review the metal box, and not the second edition (it was already done), because the sound is completely different between the two. Beyond the aesthetic aspect, the choice to release it in the format of three 12" records spinning at 45 RPM was due to the desire to highlight the dub present in the work and Wobble's bass. I have both, and I assure you there's no comparison.

Good morning. Thank you all. I think I owe some answers to @Woodstock: yes, I am from Trentino. @Ale: I'm not boasting, it's already a lot that you admit to being wrong, you'll see that at my age you'll like disco :-) @Bartle: indeed Canali is quite hollow :-). Ah, after LLDCE, there was Canali with his group, but he didn't tell me much. @Vortex, hi, it's fine that you didn't like them, but it's a bit more concerning that you don't like Paola Turci. P.S.: a thank you to Giuliana for the little photo of the two.
Swell Maps A Trip To Marineville

Great idea to bring Swell Maps back into the spotlight (they were one of those bands I had noted down too, whose absence adorned the Dedatabase, we should also do Jane from occupied). The review is very nice as well, although that repeated use of the term punk instead of post-punk leaves me quite perplexed. Swell Maps, in my humble opinion, are indeed one of the cornerstones of the post-punk sound, oblique, rough, scabby, gloomy and not inclined to compromise. Furthermore, Swell Maps are also famous for years of self-management and self-production of cassettes: let's remember that this is number 2 in the Rough Trade catalog.

Hi Primi. First of all, I'm glad that this time you spent your bucks wisely and came home happy. 5, even though you call the Boss a genius not once but twice, which he is not (rather, his greatness, in my humble opinion, lies precisely in not being a genius, but an honest performer of pop songs and rock 'n' roll, without too much fuss, as you also observe). And anyway, Van Morrison, among those you listed, the others not, when he doesn’t get on stage drunk, he devours them:-)

Ghemi, sorry, am I the pope or is it Vitalogy? No, because if the second one counts, I'd be a bit jealous. Anyway, stay tuned, because I've posted about our favorite Italian artist.
