THE REVIEW

On Thursday, July 3rd, in the parking lot of the Media World shopping center in Parma, the concert by Baustelle took place. I am a fan who has been following the band since their first album and who had never attended one of their live performances.

I must say, in my opinion, on stage they are almost annoying. The slower songs are unbelievably boring, and the singer keeps going off-key... I have never witnessed anything like this before. Halfway through the concert, people left; they were unbearable.

What a shame, a real disappointment. I think I will never go see a performance by Baustelle again, even though I will continue to follow them because the songs on the CD are really worth it... what a sadness..

Sorry for the brevity of this review, but I have nothing more to say, just a great and deep disappointment from a band I have always considered one of the best in Italy.

Summary by Bot

A longtime Baustelle fan attended their 2008 live concert in Parma for the first time but found the show disappointing. The slow songs felt boring, and the lead singer was often off-key. Many attendees left mid-show. Despite this, the reviewer still values the band's studio albums.

Baustelle

Italian band from Montepulciano led by songwriter Francesco Bianconi with vocalist Rachele Bastreghi, known for literate lyrics and a blend of orchestral and electronic pop.
